With 20 years teaching experience, having taught high school ELA, AVID, and Healthful Living at the Antelope Valley Union HSD, and Assessments for Secondary Teachers at CSU Bakersfield, David has a particular passion for helping teachers create effective and engaging lessons. For the past decade he's been a full-release mentor providing support and training to new educators. He's a Google for Education Certified Trainer, and has a featured lesson TED-Ed on "Why tragedies are alluring". He's presented numerous workshops at conferences including the California Induction Conference, CTA's New Educator Weekend and Good Teaching conferences, the National Council for Teachers of English (NCTE) Conference, and ISTE.
