Cultivating Inclusive CTE Programs highlights a partnership between a CTE program and a SPED/SDC/Vocational program that intentionally enrolls students with disabilities alongside non-SPED peers. The session demonstrates how Universal Design for Learning and strong CTE practices support rigorous, hands-on instruction aligned with IEP goals while maintaining high expectations. Participants will explore common challenges—such as scheduling, staffing, training, differentiation, and IEP requirements—and engage in brief scenarios and reflection to identify practical, transferable strategies for re-imagining inclusive teaching and learning in their own classrooms.
