Many arts teams have identified essential skills across grade levels, but implementation remains the challenge. This session focuses on translating existing scope and sequence plans into daily instruction without redesigning entire units. Through guided reflection, small-group discussion, and hands-on alignment exercises, participants will identify how their current projects already support agreed-upon skills and where small, manageable shifts can strengthen progression.This session re-imagines teaching and learning by shifting from project-driven planning to intentional skill development—creating continuity for students while preserving creativity and teacher autonomy. Attendees will leave with practical, adaptable strategies to refine—not replace—their curriculum.
